Vauxhall Mokka Park Distance Control Issue

I own a 2016 Vauxhall Mokka with a Diesel engine and 112,000 km on the clock. I'm experiencing an issue with the park distance control not functioning. I've already checked the fuse and wires, and cleaned everything with WD40, but the problem persists. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check if the parking sensors are clicking when the car is in reverse. If they aren't, it might indicate a faulty sensor. You can listen closely to each sensor or use a mechanic's stethoscope. Let me know how it goes or if you have further questions!

Thanks for your answer I will try this out, it’s my wife’s car so will have to wait till she’s home.

Check if the issue persists after testing the sensors. If they are clicking, the problem might be with the control module or wiring. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!
