Vauxhall Vectra Air Suspension Fault
Summary of the thread
The 2005 Vauxhall Vectra is experiencing a severe air suspension fault, rendering it undriveable with symptoms like sitting low and a constant error message. The OBD scanner indicates a compressor issue, which could be caused by a corroded connector or faulty wiring. The suggested solution is to inspect the compressor's wiring and plug connections, and visiting a workshop confirmed the problem as a corroded connector, which was then fixed.

Wiring and plugs, huh? Where exactly is the compressor located on the Vectra? Is it easy to get to, or am I going to need ramps and a whole toolbox?

Honestly, I can't say for your specific model, but I would highly suggest you visit a trusted workshop to be absolutely sure about the problem before it causes further damage. Seems like it will be a defective cable or plug connection of the component.

That's probably the best advice I've had so far. I'll get it booked in. It ended up being a corroded connector, just like you said. Cost me 95€ to get fixed. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old Citroen C5. Air suspension can be a real pain. Have you checked the compressor's wiring and plug connections? That was the culprit in my case. A corroded connector can cause all sorts of weirdness.
