Thanks for the tip! I haven't checked the voltage at the heater itself yet, just did a quick continuity test on the fuse. Is it difficult to access the connector? Any idea where it's located?

Accessing it can be a bit fiddly depending on your engine configuration. I found it was easier to get to from underneath the car, but that's on mine – yours might be different. Honestly, unless you're really comfortable with electrical testing, it might be worth having a workshop take a look. They'll be able to diagnose it properly and replace any damaged wiring.

Thanks for your advice. I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on - it was a corroded connector at the heater. They replaced it, and it's all working now. Cost me 95€, which I thought was pretty reasonable. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Vectra a while back during winter. It could be a defective cable or a plug connection going to the heater component itself. Have you managed to check the voltage reaching the windshield washer heater?
