Thanks for the reply! How exactly did you test the voltage supply? Is it something I can do with a basic multimeter?

Yes, a multimeter is sufficient. Set it to DC voltage, typically 20V range. With the ignition on and the blower set to a speed setting, place the probes on the motor connector terminals. You should observe a voltage reading. If there's no voltage, the issue precedes the motor, potentially a faulty resistor pack or wiring. However, given the stored error code and absent voltage, a workshop visit might be advisable for comprehensive diagnostics.

Okay, thanks for the detailed explanation. I think I'll take it to a workshop. I suspected the blower motor anyway. I'll post an update when I know more. It was indeed the blower motor. Cost me 365€ to get it replaced.

Greetings. I encountered a similar issue on my older Volvo some time ago. If the fuses are sound, the problem might lie with the blower motor itself. Before condemning the motor outright, verify the voltage supply at the motor connector when the blower should be active. If voltage is present, the motor is most likely defective.
