Vectra Cruise Control Failure

Hello, I have a 2002 Vauxhall Vectra with a gasoline engine. The cruise control stopped working. I get an error message in the speedometer, cruise control does not work, and an error is stored in the error memory. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection.

I had a similar cruise control malfunction with my Vectra. Did you check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the cruise control system? A faulty fuse can cause these symptoms.

Thanks for the tip. Which fuse exactly should I be checking? Any idea where it is located?

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you exactly which fuse it was. I had the issue diagnosed at a workshop. It might be best if you take your car to one as well.

Thanks. I took it to a workshop. Turns out it was a defective cable connection as I suspected. Cost me 95€ to get it fixed.

I have a 2007 Vectra, 150 hp Diesel. The cruise control disengages while driving. There is no pattern; it can happen frequently, or it can be a longer time before it disengages. I don't get any error messages.

Please check if the clutch pedal switch is functioning correctly as well, as it can also cause the cruise control to disengage. Make sure the switch is not sticking and is properly aligned. Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.
