Vectra Massage Seat Failure
Summary of the thread
The massage seat in a 2007 Vauxhall Vectra is not activating, and an error code suggests a possible cable or plug issue in the seat's electrical system. A similar problem was resolved by checking fuses and ultimately seeking professional repair, which quickly fixed the issue. It is recommended to consider professional diagnosis to avoid further frustration and ensure proper repair.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know which fuses I should check? I looked in the owner's manual, but it's not clear which one controls the seat massage.

I spent ages hunting for that fuse too, it wasn't clearly labelled. But honestly, after checking everything, it turned out to be a bit beyond my DIY skills. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it out quickly. Might be worth considering, saves a lot of frustration. The whole thing cost me about 95€.

Understood. Thanks for sharing your experience. Given the potential complexity and the cost you mentioned, I think I'll get it professionally diagnosed. Thanks for the help.

Interesting. I had a similar problem with the massage seat in my Vectra. I thought it was the switch at first, but I'm not so sure anymore. It's like when you have a light switch at home that seems to work sometimes, but then it just cuts out. Did you check all the fuses? That might be something to start with.
