Thanks for the reply. The spark plugs were changed about 30k km ago. Could plugs really cause such a severe misfire and power loss? I was leaning towards a fuel injector issue.

30k km is a decent run, but it's worth a check. Given the symptoms you describe, injector issues aren't out of the question. If you're not comfortable diagnosing it yourself, it's best to take it to a workshop to get it properly checked.

I appreciate the insight. I took it to the shop, and you were spot on about the fuel injector. I replaced a faulty injector, and all is good now. It cost me 515€ Thanks again for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Vectra, though I'm running a diesel. Check engine light, rough idle, terrible throttle response... The first thing I'd check is the spark plugs. When were they last changed?
