Vectra Seat Heating Failure
Summary of the thread
The seat heating in a 2005 Vauxhall Vectra is not functioning, with a diagnostic check indicating a general failure in the seat heating circuit, possibly due to a faulty heating mat. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the heating mat at a workshop, as it requires specific tools and expertise. The suggested solution is to have the heating mat professionally replaced, with an estimated repair cost of 390€.

The error code doesn't pinpoint a specific element, just a general failure in the seat heating circuit. Did you fix it yourself, or did you need a professional?

I tried checking the connections, but I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the heating mat and replaced it. Not a job I could tackle myself without the right tools.

Seems a trip to the workshop is unavoidable. Got an estimate of 390€ for the repair, which seems reasonable.

I had a similar issue with my Vectra. Does the error code point to a specific heater element, or is it a general heating circuit fault? Could also be a faulty thermal sensor...
