Thanks! Yes, it happens with both keys. If it is the key programming, is there a way to fix it? Can I bypass the immobilizer somehow, or do I need to get new keys coded?

Bypassing the immobilizer is risky business. My guess is the key programming is incorrect. I'd strongly suggest taking it to a workshop that can check the key and car. It's not worth messing around with the electrics yourself.

Okay, thanks. I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on! They recoded the key, and now it's starting perfectly. Cost me 45€ to resolve the incorrect key programming, so not too bad!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my VelSatis. Does it happen with both keys? It could be a key programming issue or the car immobilizer itself freaking out.
