VelSatis manifold pressure sensor issue

Thanks! Yes, it's definitely worse at lower RPMs. Where exactly should I be looking for these vacuum leaks? Are there any specific hoses that are known to fail on the VelSatis?

Given the symptoms and the error code, the MAP sensor itself is the most likely culprit. Vacuum leaks can be tricky to find without proper tools. It's like trying to find a pinhole in a balloon. Inspect around the intake manifold, but honestly, a workshop visit might be best. They can do a proper smoke test to pinpoint any leaks or confirm the sensor failure.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a local garage, and you were spot on. It was the manifold pressure sensor. They replaced it, and all is running smooth again. Cost me 235€ all in. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a faulty MAP sensor, quite common. Is it struggling at low RPMs? It could also be a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake. Think of it like a punctured tire – you lose pressure. Have you inspected the hoses and connections around the intake manifold?
