Fan clutch, huh? I'm not super familiar with that part. Where exactly is it located, and is there an easy way to test if it's the culprit before I start tearing things apart? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I'm no expert either. In my case, after fiddling around for ages, it turned out to be a corroded connection somewhere. Best bet is probably take it to a workshop, they'll find it pretty fast.

I took your advice and brought it in. Turns out you were spot on – it was a defective plug connection to the fan! They fixed it for 95€.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar overheating problem with my old Opel Astra. The radiator fan wasn't working properly either. Have you checked the fan clutch at all? Could be that, or maybe something else in the cooling system.
