VelSatis Power Window Failure

Hey, hoping someone can help! I'm having a nightmare with the power windows on my 2004 Renault VelSatis (gasoline engine). None of them work! I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. The error memory has also stored a fault. Could it be the power window switch itself? I'm pulling my hair out here!

I had something similar happen on my VelSatis. Windows just stopped responding. Have you checked the regulator motor? That's where I'd start looking.

Thanks for the tip! When you say regulator motor, do you mean the motor itself or the whole window mechanism including the window track? Was yours making any noises before it failed completely?

For me, it was the whole regulator motor assembly. No noises beforehand, just sudden death. Honestly, it's probably best to take it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed. It could be a number of things, but that was my experience.

Appreciate the advice! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on - faulty regulator! Cost me about 200€ to get it sorted. Thanks again!
