VelSatis Terminal 15 Ignition Error
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Renault VelSatis with a diesel engine displays a 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' error, preventing the engine from starting. The error memory suggests a defective cable or plug. After checking the fuse box and battery terminal with no obvious issues, a suggestion to inspect the relay switch is made, as a voltage drop there could cause the error. The problem is confirmed to be a defective cable, which is then fixed.

Relay switch... interesting. Which relay switch specifically? And how did you determine it was the problem?

Honestly, I didn't figure it out myself. I just took it to the workshop, mentioned the relay, and they confirmed it was the culprit. Might save you some headache.

Okay, thanks for the insight. I'll take it in. Turned out to be exactly what you said. Defective cable, fixed for 95€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my VelSatis. Did you check the relay switch? A voltage drop there could cause that error.
