Venza central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2021 Toyota Venza hybrid was malfunctioning, with doors not responding to the remote or door switch. Diagnostics suggested a faulty cable or plug as the cause. Initially, checking the fuse was recommended, but the issue was ultimately traced to a bad connector, which was repaired for 95€.

Thanks, could you tell me which fuse location is for the central locking? I want to check it before digging deeper.

I don't have the exact location handy, but the fuse box cover should have a diagram showing the fuse and amperage. Check there first. It could be more than a fuse, though. If the fuse is fine, a defective cable or plug sounds right. With keyless entry being so complex, a good workshop is probably the way to go.

I appreciate the fuse advice, but it turned out to be a bad connector like I thought. Cost 95€ to fix. Thanks for the help.

I had a similar central locking issue with my Venza, though I don't remember the year. Did you check the fuse box? Mine had a specific fuse for the door locks, and when it blew, nothing worked. Worth a look before you assume it's wiring.
