Venza Hybrid Undervoltage Detection

I'm experiencing an alarming issue with my 2022 Toyota Venza Hybrid. It has about 78,187 kilometers on it. I'm getting consistent undervoltage detection warnings. The symptoms include poor starting, various system failures, weak/flickering lights, and generally weak battery performance when starting. I suspect a heavily discharged or defective battery. Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem with my Venza! Is the car struggling to start, or are you seeing any other strange electrical glitches?

Indeed, the car struggles noticeably to start. And yes, there are several electrical glitches – infotainment system freezes, safety features temporarily disabled, that kind of thing. Did you experience the same?

Yep, those issues sound very familiar. I recommend getting your battery and charging system checked by a professional. It's likely a battery issue, but best to be sure.

Thanks, I appreciate the confirmation. I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. It was indeed the battery; it was heavily discharged and defective. A new battery replacement, costing 290€, solved all the problems.
