Venza power window failure
Summary of the thread
The power windows on a 2008 Toyota Venza are non-functional, with an error memory indicating a fault. The initial suspicion is a faulty power window switch, but a suggestion is made to check the regulator motor, as a failure there could affect the entire system. It is recommended to have the issue diagnosed by a professional workshop to avoid unnecessary effort and ensure accurate identification of the problem. Ultimately, the issue is confirmed to be with the window regulator, which is then repaired.

Interesting. So, the regulator motor, huh? Is there any way to test that without ripping the whole door panel apart? I'd rather not go in blind.

Yeah, it's tricky. Honestly, given the symptoms and error code, I'd say it's best to get it checked out by a workshop. They'll have the right tools to diagnose it properly. Could save you a lot of time and frustration.

Thanks! Took your advice and brought it in. Turns out it was the window regulator, as you suspected. Cost me 200€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the insight!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue on my Toyota Highlander. Have you checked the regulator motor? Sometimes those go bad and throw off the whole system. If the motor is dead, the switch won't do anything.
