Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the throttle body specifically, but I did take a quick look at the air intake, and it seemed okay. What exactly was wrong with yours, and how did you figure it out? Was it a simple fix, or did you need to replace something?

Well, in my case, the issue was with the accelerator pedal module or the electronics inside. It's hard to say for sure without proper diagnostics. The reduced power and check engine light pointed the mechanic in that direction. I'd really suggest getting it checked out by a professional workshop. It ended up costing me around 265€ to get it fixed.

Thanks so much for the info! That's really helpful. I'll take it to a workshop and mention the accelerator pedal module. Hopefully, it's a similar issue and they can sort it out without too much trouble. Really appreciate the help!

I have a Toyota Venza too, and I had similar symptoms not too long ago. I'm no expert, but from what I remember, it could be related to the throttle body. Have you checked that? Maybe it's just a dirty air flow sensor messing things up. Have you noticed any weird noises or rough idling?
