Yeah, codes definitely point to the transmission control unit. Did replacing that module fix it for you, or was there more to it? Trying to gauge if I'm staring down a simple fix or a money pit.

Replacing the unit sorted it out. Definitely get it checked by a workshop though, could be other things, but sounds like ours was a very similar issue.

Appreciate the insight! Dropped it at the shop, and you nailed it - defective transmission control unit. Quoted 1000€ for the repair. Thanks for giving me a heads up; at least I knew what to expect!

Sounds familiar. I have a Venza too. Had similar weirdness with the gearbox – slipping and jerky shifts, especially when trying to use the paddles. Felt like driving a manual with a learner driver at the wheel. Was your issue also pointing towards a control module?
