Veracruz Blower Not Working
Summary of the thread
The 2009 Hyundai Veracruz's fresh air blower was not functioning, and an error code was stored in the system. The initial concern was whether the issue was due to a defective blower motor. Suggestions included checking the electrical wiring and fuses, as these could be simpler causes. Ultimately, the blower motor was confirmed to be defective and was replaced, resolving the issue.

Wiring and fuses? Really? I assumed that because there's an error code, it had to be the blower motor itself. Where exactly should I be looking for these fuses, and how would I check the wiring?

Well, in my case, it turned out to be a corroded connector. But with an error code pointing to the motor, it's more likely the motor, yes. I'd still check the easy stuff first, but you're probably better off taking it to a workshop to get it diagnosed properly. Save yourself the headache, you know?

Alright, I understand. Thanks for the suggestion and sharing your experience! I took it to the shop, and you were right; the blower motor was indeed defective. Cost me about 365€ to replace, but at least it's fixed now.

I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra a few years back. The air circulation stopped completely. Did you check the electrical wiring and fuses related to the blower motor? It might be something simpler than the motor itself.
