Veracruz Transmission Issues and Cable Connection

I'm having trouble with my 2010 Hyundai Veracruz with a gasoline engine. At 51266 km, the transmission indicator and check engine light come on sometimes. The automatic transmission seems to be in emergency mode, shifting weirdly, slipping, and grinding when it shifts. There's also an error stored. Could a bad radiator oil pressure cause this? I'm wondering if it's a bad cable or plug connection.

Sounds like a pain! I had similar stuff happen in my old car, though it wasn't a Hyundai. It's weird you are thinking it's the radiator, did you check your coolant level to see if you have a coolant leak? Is your car overheating or is the pressure gauge acting up? Could be radiator coolant messing with your cooling system. Just throwing some ideas out there!

It's possible a bad connection is causing the problem, stranger things have happened with cars! But with those symptoms, you should definitely take it to a workshop to be sure. Playing the guessing game can sometimes make things worse.

Thanks for the advice. I took the Veracruz to a certified mechanic, who said it was a defective cable connection, like I thought. The repair was 95€, including parts and labor. It's working fine now.
