Verso emergency call malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Toyota Verso owner experienced a persistent emergency call system malfunction, indicated by an error message and warning light. The issue was suspected to be a simple fuse problem but was later identified as a faulty connection in the telematics control module. A workshop visit confirmed a defective plug, and repairing the cable resolved the issue.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly would I find the emergency call system component to check the connections? And to answer your question, the error message is pretty constant now, unfortunately.

It's usually integrated with the telematics control module. Considering it's constant and you're not comfortable locating it, a workshop visit might be best. Could be a defective plug.

Okay, I understand. Thanks for confirming it's probably not something simple I can fix myself. I took it to the shop, and you were right, it was a defective connection! Repairing the cable cost me 95€, so nothing crazy. Appreciate the help!

Could be a faulty connection. Check the cable and plug connections to the emergency call system component. Is the error message constant, or does it come and go?
