Verso GPS malfunction

Hi, I've got a 2016 Toyota Verso with a gasoline engine and I'm experiencing some issues with the navigation system. Basically, the GPS isn't working. The error memory stores an error and there's no GPS reception whatsoever. I suspect the GPS antenna is defective, but is there anything else it could be? The car has 138083 km on the clock.

Hmm, that's interesting. I've got a Verso as well, and I had a similar problem with my GPS. Could be the GPS module itself, maybe? Have you checked the connections to the antenna? Or maybe the antenna cable is damaged?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't checked the connections yet. Where exactly is the GPS module located in the Verso? And is it easy to access the antenna cable?

On mine, the GPS module was behind the dashboard, pretty hard to get to without taking things apart. Honestly, if you aren't comfortable with car electronics, it might be better to just take it to a workshop. My issue turned out to be the antenna, cost about 200€ to fix.

Okay, thanks a lot for the info! I think I'll bring it to a local workshop and let them have a look. Sounds like it's probably the antenna and not worth the hassle of trying to fix it myself. I appreciate the help!
