Verso headlight range control issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Toyota Verso is experiencing issues with its headlight range control, resulting in a warning light and improper beam alignment. The problem is persistent and not linked to the car's startup. A similar issue was resolved by replacing a defective servomotor in the headlight assembly, which is not a simple fix and may require professional repair.

It's persistent, whether the car has just started or been running. It's like a gremlin is in the headlight system. Did you fix it yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

A persistent gremlin, huh? Sounds like what I had! It was a defective servomotor in the headlight assembly. It's not a simple fix. You should visit a workshop. My repair was around 1040€, so be ready for that.

Thanks! Sounds like a workshop is in my future. The defective servomotor makes sense with what I'm seeing. Thanks for the heads up on the cost! I appreciate it.

I own a Verso too, and that sounds familiar. My lights were all over the place! Does it happen right after starting the car, or is it always like that?
