Verso oil pressure warning

I own a 2018 Toyota Verso with a diesel engine and 81013 km mileage. Recently, a warning light appeared in the speedometer, and the oil pressure warning lamp lights up. Could this be due to exceeding the maintenance interval, potentially leading to oil contamination?

I had a similar issue with my Toyota Verso (although it's an older model). Did you notice any oil sludge or unusual engine noises? Could be a blocked oil pump. Have you considered using any oil additives?

I haven't observed any oil sludge directly, but the engine sounds slightly rougher than usual. Which oil additives would you recommend, and is there a risk of further engine damage if the oil pressure is indeed low?

Confirming it, I experienced the rough engine sound too. I wouldn't recommend any specific oil additives. Better get it checked by a workshop. Low oil pressure could definitely cause serious engine damage if left untreated.

Understood. Thank you for the advice. I will take it to a workshop to get it checked. The repair ended up costing 165€. The mechanic confirmed oil contamination due to exceeding the maintenance interval.
