Verso Water Sensor Malfunction

Hello, I have a 2018 Toyota Verso diesel. The check engine light is on, and the error memory indicates a water sensor malfunction. The engine is also running rough. Mileage is 56256 km. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Any ideas?

Yes, there's a specific fault code for the water sensor. I haven't done sensor testing yet. Where exactly was the issue on your car?

Ah, ok. I didn't get that far myself, to be honest. I just took mine to a workshop. Turned out it was exactly what they thought and was quickly done
