Verso Windshield Wipers Faulty

I own a Verso diesel and had something similar. Do you have a rain sensor? That could be related.

In my case, the rain sensor was the problem – a loose connection. It needed special equipment to diagnose. Since you have error codes and suspect a cable, a workshop is best. Cost me about 95€ to fix.
