Vezel charge air temperature sensor issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2022 Honda Vezel hybrid. The check engine light is on, and it feels like the engine is way down on power. I also hear this annoying whistling, almost hissing sound when I accelerate. It’s got 86314 km on the clock. I scanned it and it's throwing a charge air temperature sensor error. I checked the sensor itself, and the wires seem okay, but I’m no mechanic. Any ideas?

Summary of the thread

A 2022 Honda Vezel hybrid experienced a check engine light, reduced engine power, and a whistling sound during acceleration, with a diagnostic scan indicating a charge air temperature sensor error. The issue was traced to a faulty cable connection to the sensor. Repairing the connection resolved the problem, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Vezel. Was the temperature gauge acting strangely too?

The temperature gauge seems normal, but I’m not sure what to look for specifically. What exactly went wrong with yours?

Mine was the cable or plug connection to the charge air temperature sensor. Honestly, I wouldn’t mess with it too much yourself. Just take it to a workshop, they should know what to do.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was the cable connection to the sensor. They fixed it for 95€. Runs like new now!
