Vezel engine stalling power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Vezel with 222,764 km is experiencing engine stalling, power loss, and a check engine light. The suspected cause is a faulty fuel volume regulator, potentially due to a high-pressure fuel pump issue. The problem was confirmed by a workshop, which identified both the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel volume regulator as defective, leading to a successful repair.

Fuel economy... hmm, now that you mention it, I have been filling up more often. How sure are you about the high-pressure fuel pump? What did you do to fix it? Was it expensive?

Given the symptoms and the fuel economy drop, it does sound like the high-pressure fuel pump. Now, I'm no mechanic, but from what you've described and what I experienced, it's highly probable. I strongly suggest taking it to a reputable workshop for a proper diagnosis. They can confirm the fault and give you a quote for the repair.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. They confirmed it was the high-pressure fuel pump and a defective fuel volume regulator. Cost me 1510€ to get it all sorted, but at least it's running smoothly again. Appreciate the help!

A Vezel with similar issues, you say? Funny you should mention that. I had almost identical symptoms on my Vezel, though I can't recall the mileage exactly. Did you notice any changes in fuel economy recently, alongside the rough idling and power loss? Because if so, it strengthens the probability that your high-pressure fuel pump is faulty.
