Vezel engine stalling rough idle
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Honda Vezel hybrid is experiencing engine stalling, rough idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The suspected cause is a defective fuel pressure sensor and faulty wiring connection. The suggested solution is to check and repair the connection and replace the sensor if necessary, which resolved similar issues for another owner.

Thanks for the quick reply! Did you also have the jerking when accelerating? And did a new sensor fix the stalling problem completely?

Yeah, the jerking was there too. It was driving me nuts! A new sensor did fix the problem, but I would have the workshop check the connection before replacing the sensor itself. If the connection is faulty, a new sensor might not solve the issue permanently.

Great, thanks a lot for the info! I'll take it to the workshop and have them check the connection and the sensor. The mechanic confirmed the defective connection and faulty sensor and they replaced both of them. The total repair bill came to 95€. Hopefully, that will solve the issue. Thanks again for your help!

Hey! I had something similar happen with my Vezel (not sure what year mine is). The engine stalling was super annoying, and my fuel economy went totally down the drain. Was thinking about getting rid of it! If the connection is bad it will definitely cause problems with the pressure readings. It really sounds like the fuel system to me.
