Thanks for the quick reply! Shift knob connections seem solid. Which sensors are you thinking of specifically? I'm pretty sure the control unit is borked, but trying to cover all bases before I shell out serious cash.

Yeah, okay, if you're getting grinding and it won't engage, it does sound worse than what I had. I mostly had a weird display. I'd hate to point you down the wrong path. It ended up being a faulty module. Definitely take it to a workshop; they'll know what to do.

Appreciate the confirmation! Just got back from the workshop - you nailed it. Defective control unit, exactly as suspected. Quoted 1000€ for the repair. Thanks for the help!

Hey, I have a Vezel too and this sounds vaguely familiar! My symptoms weren't quite as bad, but the gear selector was acting strangely, and the display was flickering. Did you check the basic stuff like the shift knob connections or any related sensors?
