Vezel key fob battery issue
Summary of the thread
The 2022 Honda Vezel is experiencing key fob issues, with keyless access failing and an error code stored, likely due to a depleted battery. A similar issue with a BMW was resolved by addressing a parasitic drain affecting the key fob's performance. Replacing the key battery did not resolve the problem, suggesting a workshop visit is necessary for further diagnosis and repair.

Interesting. Did you resolve the BMW issue yourself, or did you need professional help? Can you share the specific error code?

I initially tried replacing the battery myself, but the problem persisted. It turned out there was a parasitic drain somewhere, affecting the key fob's performance. The error code was related to low voltage from the key. In the end, I had to take it to the workshop to get it sorted.

Thanks for the insight. Looks like a workshop visit is next. Replacing the key battery didn't fix it. Final repair cost was 37€. Appreciate the help.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my 2019 BMW 3 series. Keyless entry went haywire, and the car kept throwing 'key battery low' warnings. It's like the car is a canary in a coal mine, warning you about low voltage.
