Vezel rough start and power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Honda Vezel experienced rough starts, increased fuel consumption, power loss, uneven idling, and occasional stalling. These issues were suspected to be caused by a dirty or defective fuel injector. After visiting a workshop, it was confirmed that the injection nozzle was defective, and replacing it resolved the problems, improving the vehicle's performance.

Misfires, yes, I think I have noticed those too. By 'injection nozzle' I did mean 'injector'. I've just been using regular unleaded gasoline. Is there anything specific I should check for regarding the injectors?

Well, with my Astra, the misfires got progressively worse. It got to the point where I suspected the injectors were so dirty that they weren't spraying fuel properly. In your case, with those symptoms, I would recommend a visit to a workshop to check the fuel injectors. They can test them and determine if they need cleaning or replacement.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a shop, and it turned out the injection nozzle was indeed defective. Replacement cost me 515€. Runs much better now.

That does sound like it could be fuel-related. I had similar symptoms with my old Opel astra – rough starts, poor performance. Have you noticed any misfires? If the 'injection nozzle' you mention is the same as an 'injector', those can get clogged and cause all sorts of problems. What kind of fuel have you been using?
