I had a quick look at the fuse box, but I'm not entirely sure which fuse is for the central locking on the Viano Do you remember which fuse it was on your Megane, or maybe how you figured it out

I don't remember the exact fuse number, but the Renault manual had a diagram showing which fuse controlled what If your Viano has a similar diagram, it should point you in the right direction Honestly, though, after messing around with it for ages, I ended up just taking it to a workshop Turned out to be a faulty wiring harness, which was beyond my capabilities Best of luck

Thanks for the tip I checked the fuse diagram in the manual like you said, and the fuse looked fine So I took it to my usual shop, and you were right it was a defective connection, just like the error code said They charged me 95€ to fix it Annoying, but at least it's sorted I can relax knowing the car alarm will actually work now

That sounds frustrating I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane a few years back The car locks just stopped responding to the key fob, and even using the physical key in the door was a struggle Did you check the fuse box It might sound simple, but a blown fuse can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems
