Vios headlight washer fault
Summary of the thread
The headlight cleaning system on a 2007 Toyota Vios is not functioning. The initial suspicion is a faulty cable connection to the pump or a relay issue. After considering potential causes like clogs or leaks, it is confirmed that the problem is indeed a defective cable to the pump, which was resolved by a workshop.

Clogs, eh? Where exactly should I be looking for these blockages? The whole system seems dead, so I'm not sure where to start.

With my Peugeot, it turned out to be a frozen line in winter. But since you mention 'dead', it may well be the pump. Honestly, save yourself the headache and get it to a workshop. I spent ages fiddling with mine before I caved and let them sort it.

I think you're right. I'll get it booked in. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Turns out it was a defective cable to the pump like I suspected. Cost me 165€ to get sorted.

I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot 208. The windscreen washer stopped working. Have you checked for any clogs or leaks in the lines?
