The security light is acting up. Flashing like crazy sometimes, other times it's just solid. Was it the same for you? And was it the immobilizer for sure?

Yep, same circus. The light show was the immobilizer crying for help. Best bet? Get it checked out at a workshop. They'll hook it up and diagnose the fault. You'd be hard pressed to fix that yourself.

I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. They recoded the key. Cost me about 45€, and the car's alive again. Appreciate the help!

Ugh, sounds like the same ghost I battled with my Vios. Is the security light going bonkers? Mine acted like a Christmas tree before refusing to start altogether. It felt like the car was possessed!
