Vios Keyless Entry Failure

My 2011 Toyota Vios with a gasoline engine is giving me headaches! The keyless entry stopped working completely, and the error memory is showing a fault. I suspect it's a defective cable or plug. Has anyone experienced this?

I had a similar issue with my Vios. Does the central locking still work with the key itself?

Yes, the central locking works fine with the physical key. Only the keyless access is dead. Any ideas?

That's exactly what happened to mine. I'd wager it's a wiring fault in the door electronics. Best to have a workshop take a look.

Thanks! That confirms my suspicion. I'll take it to a workshop to get it sorted. The invoice came to 95€. Hopefully, it's a quick fix.
