Volt Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Chevrolet Volt hybrid experienced a central locking failure, where neither the key fob nor door buttons could lock or unlock the doors. The issue was traced to a stored error code related to the door locks. A possible cause was identified as a defective cable or plug connection. After consulting a mechanic, the problem was resolved by cleaning a corroded connector, restoring the central locking functionality.

Thanks for the tip! Which fuse exactly did you have to check on your Peugeot? Was it just a blown fuse or something more complicated?

On mine, it was the fuse specifically for the central locking system. But honestly, even after replacing it, the issue came back. Eventually, I just took it to a workshop; electrical gremlins are the worst. They quoted me 95€ for the fix, which turned out to be a corroded connector.

I took your advice and went to a local mechanic. They found a corroded connector, just like you said! They cleaned it up and everything's working perfectly now. Thanks for the help!

Strange, I had a similar problem with my old Peugeot. The central locking went haywire. Key fob wouldn't work, the alarm would randomly go off. Have you checked the fuses?
