Thanks for the quick reply! No other codes are showing up. Just the 'Fault memory lock active' one. I haven't checked the 12V battery yet. Could a weak 12V battery really cause that kind of ECU fault?

Yeah, a weak 12V can cause all sorts of strange electronic issues in these cars. It's worth checking before you go down the rabbit hole of ECU diagnostics. But honestly, with that error and mileage, a trip to a workshop to check the ECU could be worth it.

Thanks a lot for the insight! I took it to a local shop, and you were right – it was related to undervoltage. They cleared the fault memory and checked the computer system for 240€. Seems to be running fine now!

I had something similar happen with my Volt, though I can't remember the exact error code. Was yours throwing any other weird codes along with it? Have you checked the 12V battery?
