Thanks for the quick reply! The car currently has 112170 km on the clock. Does the mileage affect the Infotainment system in any way?

Given the mileage and observed symptoms, a defective infotainment system is a plausible diagnosis. The system's components can degrade over time, leading to such failures. I recommend consulting a qualified technician for a thorough inspection and possible replacement of the unit.

Okay, I appreciate the confirmation. I took it to a local mechanic, they confirmed it was the infotainment system. The microphone repair set me back 815€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Greetings. A malfunctioning hands-free microphone manifesting as telephony failure with stored error codes often points to a deeper issue within the infotainment system. What is the mileage on your Volt?
