Volt Washer Fluid Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Chevrolet Volt hybrid was experiencing a 'Washer fluid low' warning and a non-functional windshield washer system, despite the fluid being refilled. The issue was traced to a faulty washer fluid level sensor, which was causing the error. Replacing the sensor resolved the problem.

Is there an easy way to test the washer motor without special tools? And how do I clear the spray jets if they're blocked?

To test the motor, you usually need a multimeter to check for voltage when the washer is on. For the jets, a fine needle or compressed air can often clear any blockages. But, since there's a stored error and the problem continues, you might need to visit a workshop for a full check.

Thanks for the advice. It was a faulty level sensor causing the error. I replaced it for 25€, and now it works.

Have you checked the washer motor itself? Sometimes, even with enough fluid, a bad motor can stop it from working. Also, are the spray jets blocked? Debris can build up and block the flow.
