Volvo C30 Diesel Cylinder Pressure Issue

My 2008 Volvo C30 diesel is acting up. Only 25,614 km on it. Getting cylinder pressure fluctuations, higher fuel consumption, reduced power, and the check engine light. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I've got a C30 diesel too. Had similar symptoms a while back. Check engine light was on, and it felt like it was running on fumes. Did you check for consequential errors?

Yeah, sometimes one problem triggers a bunch of others. Could be something simple throwing everything off. I’d check the camshaft, timing belt, head gasket, fuel injector and turbocharger before taking more drastic measures. My issue ended up being a simple fix covered under warranty. But, if you are not familiar with this stuff, it's probably best to get it to a workshop.
