Volvo C70 Blower Motor AUC Sensor
Summary of the thread
The blower motor on a 2008 Volvo C70 was not functioning, and the initial suspicion was an issue with the AUC sensor cable or plug. The problem was likely due to a faulty AUC sensor or subtle wiring issues, as suggested by another participant. After replacing the AUC sensor at a workshop, the blower motor resumed working, confirming the sensor was the cause.

I checked the wiring harness but didn't see any obvious damage. Is there a specific pin on the connector I should test for voltage or continuity?

Pin testing might narrow it down, but given the car's age, it's likely an internal sensor fault or a subtle wiring issue beyond visual inspection. A workshop visit might be most efficient, considering the potential complexity and the cost of a new sensor.

I had the AUC sensor replaced at a workshop; the total cost was 95€. The blower motor is now working.

The AUC sensor is a common cause of climate control issues in that model. Have you checked the sensor's wiring harness for damage or corrosion? A faulty signal could disable the blower.
