Thanks for the quick response! I did a visual inspection of the mounting brackets, and I didn't spot any obvious cracks. I am getting just the one error code related to the engine mount. Could you elaborate on what you did to resolve the problem on your V50?

Okay, just the one code is interesting. In my case, the rubber mount was completely shot; you couldn't even tell it was supposed to be a mount anymore! And yeah, the cable was loose, triggering the error. Honestly, given the mileage, it's probably just mount wear, and a loose connection just sealed the deal. I'd recommend taking it to a trusted workshop and have them properly diagnose it. It might be a quick fix, but better safe than sorry, right?

Understood, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. The engine mount was indeed worn, and a cable connection was loose. They replaced the mount and secured the connection; the total cost was 95€. Runs like a charm now!

Hey there! Sounds familiar. I've got a V50, and I had a similar issue not too long ago. Engine mounts, especially the rubber ones, are prone to wear. Did you check all the mounting brackets for any visible cracks or damage? A defective cable could cause all sorts of weird readings. Is it just the one error code, or are there others popping up?
