Volvo V60 starting issues
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Volvo V60 with 202,539 km is experiencing starting issues, increased fuel consumption, reduced power, erratic idling, and occasional stalling. The problem may be linked to dirty or faulty injection valves, as other potential causes like a clogged fuel filter have been ruled out. It is recommended to have the injection nozzles checked by a professional mechanic to confirm the diagnosis and resolve the issues.

No unusual smells and the fuel filter was changed recently. Could it really be the injection nozzle? I’m not really familiar with the signs of that and whether that could really be the reason for ALL the symptoms…

I think you should consider checking the injection nozzles if everything else is fine. I had the same symptoms and after the mechanic checked everything, he found out it was this issue. If you lack experience, it might be best to get it checked by a workshop.

Thanks! I will take it to my local mechanic. At least now I know I’m not crazy and that it could very well be the injection nozzles. It's probably more than I can handle myself anyway. Will post the results once I have them.

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my V60. Have you noticed any unusual smells or smoke? When did you last change your fuel filter? A clogged filter can sometimes mimic those symptoms.
