Thanks for the advice. I took my Arteon to the shop last week and they confirmed it was indeed a wiring issue. The connector had worked loose during the previous service, causing the blower motor to stop. The repair was pretty straightforward, they fixed the connection and checked all the air conditioning sensors while they were in there. Everything is working perfectly now including the auto recirculation and air quality monitoring. Total cost came to 110€ for labor and parts. Really glad I had this checked before assuming I needed an expensive blower motor or AUC sensor replacement. The entire HVAC system is back to normal and the cabin stays comfortable again. Had a similar issue on my 2017 VW Passat TSI. The symptoms match what you describe, climate control panel working but no actual air flow.
