Thanks for your helpful insight. My Caddy has the 1.6L FSI gas engine. Last service was done 3 months ago at 42525km. The stored error code is P0522. The oil pressure warning mostly appears when the engine is warm, especially during longer drives. The mechanic at my last service checked the actual oil pressure with testing equipment and found it normal. I checked the engine sensor wiring visually but couldnt spot any obvious damage. Would the temperature sensor replacement be something I could handle myself or is it best left to professionals considering the car diagnostics needed?
