Hello, thanks for the quick reply. Well, my Golf Diesel is also from 2008 and already has quite a lot on it, namely 221790 km. The last service was recently. I think I'll have to take it to the garage and have it checked. Your experience will definitely help me, thank you!

Hello again, the car with so many kilometers has certainly seen a bit of action! Your Golf is two years newer than mine, but the symptoms are exactly the same. It could well be that your DPF is also clogged. In any case, there's no way around having it checked and then cleaned or replaced. It may cost a little, but afterwards your Golf will run like new again. Don't forget to have the fault memory read out. The boost pressure sensor may also be indicated as the source of the fault. Good luck, buddy!

Hello, thanks for all the tips and suggestions. Maybe you're right and it's the DPF. Reading out the fault memory is definitely a good idea, I'll have that done straight away. I just hope that the bill won't be too expensive! But what don't you do for your car, right? Good luck with your Golf and thanks again for the help!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2006 VW Golf Diesel, I would class myself as someone with some experience in car repairs. When I went to my garage they said that the bottom DPF was clogged. It cost 1325 euros to fix the problem. Can you please give me more information about the car? That would help me to help you in more detail.
