Having issues with my 2018 VW Sharan diesel sunroof system. The vehicle sunroof controls are not responding properly, both the sunblind and main sunroof mechanism are stuck. The sunblind stays fixed in one position and wont move either way. Getting a sunroof not initialized error message. Before booking a workshop appointment, would appreciate hearing from others who faced similar sunroof operation problems. What was the diagnosis and repair solution in your case? Particularly interested in repair time and common fixes the workshop applied to restore normal sunroof control function.
