Thanks everyone for the helpful insights. I finally got my Taigo fixed last week after finding a trustworthy mechanic through a. The issue was exactly as suspected, two faulty ignition coils and worn spark plugs were causing the rough idle. The air filter was also quite dirty and needed replacement. The total repair cost came to 320€, including parts and labor. The mechanic showed me the old components and explained everything clearly. The engine now runs smoothly with no jerky acceleration or idling problems. The best part was how transparent the whole process felt. They even showed me the diagnostic readings before and after the repair. Really different experience from my previous mechanic who tried charging almost double without any explanation. Since the fix, the check engine light has stayed off and the car feels like new again. Will definitely stick with this mechanic for future services.
