Washer fluid warning light issue
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2011 Ford G6 was a persistent washer fluid low warning light, despite the reservoir being full and the windshield washer system not functioning. Initial suggestions included checking the reservoir, spray nozzles, and the pump. The problem was ultimately traced to a faulty level sensor in the washer fluid reservoir, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Yeah, I double-checked the reservoir, it's definitely full. I also tried cleaning the nozzles with a needle, but no luck. You mentioned the pump... is there a way to test that before I start tearing things apart?

Okay, if you've ruled out the easy stuff, then yeah, it's pointing towards the pump or the sensor itself. Testing the pump without proper tools can be tricky, but you could try listening for it when you activate the washer. If you hear nothing, it's likely the pump. Honestly, at this point, it might be worth taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and save you some hassle.

Thanks for the advice! Turns out it was a faulty level sensor in the washer fluid reservoir. Replaced it for 25€ and now the light is gone and everything's working again.

Hmm, that's strange. You're sure the reservoir is actually full? Sometimes the sensor can be a bit wonky. Also, have you checked the spray nozzles themselves? Maybe they're clogged. If the reservoir is full and the nozzles are clear, the pump might be faulty.
